THE HORROR!
Actually I have written stuff OTHER than the Vanguard novels
This is Dennin, a lesser-demon from my short-story "Considerations" (found here: [link] if you are interested).
Although outwardly rather confident, cocky and cheeky, he has a darker past hinted only briefly at in the story. This beautifully rendered view of him in his native, demonic form has him looking rather thoughtful and introspective... simply wonderful. Many, many thanks go to the talented young Wahay here on DA for the picture - much appreciation to you, Sir, for helping to bring more of my characters to life in such a stunning way <3
