Not a scene from either of the two novels I wrote but something random... Rather than me type out an explanation of what is going on here, I will quote what the artist wrote instead as it is MUCH better than anything I could come up with (and much more amusing, I laughed out loud for real):
When Shadows had been asked by Curve-Tusk if he liked Little Ones he had assumed she had meant snacks, or perhaps she was using some form of sexual innuendo he was not familiar with. He of course had told her yes, not wanting to appear the idiot in front of such a fine lady. She asked if she could take this "Little One' to his ritual bath and had readily agreed languidly spreading his thick well muscled form over the stone there and waited. He knew how handsome he looked with the blue lights playing all over him, his towel haphazardly put -just- over him.
"Why is he naked?" Startled the warrior fell off his rocky perch with a slam grumbling in pain as he peered up at the female and...a spawnling?! He stared at them both in confusion eyes blinking fro the tiny grey thing with its towel to the mother who merely grinned baring sharp teeth and her framed curved tusks. "This one will be back soon, you two have fun! Thank you again Shadows." And she left abandoning the warrior with the tiny frightening creature.
Little-one beamed curiously up at the strong, handsome Warrior. "Why are you holding your towel over your lap?" He asked with an innocent smile, bright eyes blinking up at the other with interest.
His only response was a splutter, a mutter of "ask your Mother' before the Warrior pushed him into the lake. The kid could learn how to swim -now-.
"Spawnlings" are what the Vanguard call their children up until they come of age. From the talented fingers of XBlackShuckX [link]
- check out her art, she has got a very cool drawing style.
PS: LOSE THE TOWEL!
